Using just a few strips and squares, students will be able to complete the piecing of this runner during a one day workshop and be ready to add quilting stitches when they get home. Like potato chips, this is a hard project to do just once. Great class for all level quilters. Purchase of the "Tucker Trimmer required.

An intriguing, dimensional look that is actually easy to construct. The project uses strip piecing and a 60 degree ruler to quickly and easily assemble half blocks. These half hexagons are then stitched into rows without using any "Y" seams. Deb will take they mystery out of this complicated looking design and have you "tumbling" through your fabric stash at record speed. Suitable for all level quilters. Deb puts her own spin on a block designed by quiltmaker Joan Streck. It was originally published in "Quick Quilts From Your Scrapbag" by Leisure Arts. During the course each student will assemble one block and work with the following techniques: "Fast Flying Geese", "attached templates", "quick cut kites", "Folded Corners", and paper foundation piecing. Precutting assures each student should be able to construct one block in the time alloted. A class suitable for those with intermediate to advanced skills only. No special tools required.

A great design with challenging piecing. This project will take students through a wide variety of intermediate and advanced level piecing techniques, including "Fast Flying Geese", "quick cut kites", "attached templates", "folded corners", and "Thirty Something Square Up" for leaf tips. Deb will also infuse the class with many hints and tips to help all improve their machine piecing skills. Several tools are recommended, but none are required. This class is suitable for intermediate to advanced students only.
