Watercolor QuiltsFull Day Workshop
Learn how to make those magnificent quilts that always steal the show. Deb takes some of the mystery and fear out of combining literally hundreds of fabrics together into one project (typically 200 or more fabrics in a wall quilt). Students will participate in a fabric exchange in order to compile a usable palette of fabrics and create individual, small scale, projects. This is a no sew class that focuses on design only. Students will need to bring a flexible design surface and a roll of masking tape in order to transport pieces from class to home. Suitable for all levels. No special tools required, but several helpful gadgets will be reviewed.

Fletcher Farm StarsFull Day Workshop
Love the look of triangles, but cringe at the thought of trying to align all those points? Maybe you should try this pattern. Deb has designed Fletcher Farm Stars so that NONE of the triangle points need to match. Because of this, all of the pieced triangle points come out looking crisp and clear. Throughout the class students will learn a quick piecing triangle technique “Triangles on a Roll” to speed the construction of the Friendship Star blocks and then will cover how to add snowball corners using a tool called the “Angler.” Deb will share many hints and tips for success along the way. A class suitable for all levels. Small fee for triangle papers and “Angler” tool.
