Rapid Fire Hunter's Star, Basics Full Day Workshop

A totally new, patented technique designed to streamline construction of the traditional Hunter’s Star block. Each student will learn how to use Deb’s Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star rulers and sewing procedures to quickly and accurately assemble the blocks. Deb will take each student step by step through the processes that will enable all to achieve maximum efficiency with rotary cutting and machine piecing. A number of options are given for size, shape and layout of each participant’s project, thus individualizing each project. Fun, fast and striking. Suitable to those with some basic quilting skills (not recommended as a first project). Purchase of the Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star ruler is required.

Rapid Fire Hunter's Star, 'River Hunter' Quilt

A project specific class that will teach students how to construct blocks using Deb’s patented Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star technique and ruler. The quilt was titled “River Hunter’s Star” because of the fish fabric used to make the quilt for Deb’s husband who is an avid fisherman. It measures approximately 64" X 80" when finished. Students will master the streamlined piecing process as they construct and assemble the blocks into a balanced, attractive design layout. Each student can expect to get approximately half of the blocks completed if done during a two day course or weekend retreat. Fun, fast and striking. Suitable to those with solid rotary cutting and machine piecing skills (not recommended as a first project). Purchase of the Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star ruler is required.

Rapid Fire Hunter's Star, "Hot Flash" Quilt Full Day Workshop

A project specific class that will teach students how to construct blocks using Deb’s patented Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star technique and ruler. This class will not only focus on learning the Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star process, but will also include instructions on how to extend the outside edges of the traditional design to make each star complete around the edges. Lessons on how to construct the border units using another of Deb’s specialty ruler, the “Tucker Trimmer” will also be covered during class time. Each student can expect to get a number of blocks constructed as well as a sample of the pieced borders done during a full day workshop. Fun, fast and striking. Suitable to those with solid rotary cutting and machine piecing skills (not recommended as a first project). Purchase of the Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star ruler and the Tucker Trimmer are required.
